a little late again - I apologize. This holiday schedule has got me all wonky.
I'm glad someone is thinking about this.
Such as...
I'm pluckin proud to be a US American.
(as opposed to a Caribbean American)

Wednesday Giggles
So - A LOT has happened this last week.
The bro is officially married
I got snowed in under 7+" of snow. Very pretty and fun snow mind you. But snow nevertheless.
Slept on a couch for a week.
Got to hang out with some old friends (a few stories there)
Fell in love with another golden child - (more stories there too)
I promise to blog about it all ad nausium as soon as grad apps and GREs are done
but one of the jewels I brought back from Utah was this video my friend Matt (father of the golden child) showed me
No School like the Old School
The Muppet Show - Danny Boy

Wednesday Giggles
A lot happened before Sondra, Denise, Theo, Vanessa, Rudy, Olivia and Jello Pudding -
The sweaters have been around for a while, but not as long as Legos.

Wednesday Giggles
Even though the world is on fire there are still giggles to be had so here we go!
Here is another favorite-
You may reconginze this lovely man from the reoccuring Pale Force segment on Conan or a few of those disturbing Skittles commercials (two words: beard comb-over). Hes also sometimes known as "The Polar Bear"
I love this particular set because all of my brothers are chemically dependent on Hot Pockets and it always disturbed me a little. It took Jim Gaffigan to explain why.
Oh - and that little voice he does inbetween statements is his version of the auidence's internal dialogue or reaction to what he might be saying about the joke. Its a running gig through the whole show. Var var funny.

Wednesday Giggles
So I've been trying to think of a weekly feature I could implement on my blog that was me but not obtuse and just the other day I had an epiphany-
I love to laugh.
I am a living, breathing Mary Poppins song.
I love a good joke.
I even love bad jokes. I collect them even.
And I especially love stand up comedy. It has a permanent table reservation in the restaurant of my heart. I spent entire summers parked in front of Comedy Central and at the Ice House during my high school years. I've found that its getting harder and harder to find truly funny stuff and not just shock jokes or a string of racial slurs and expletives so when I do find someone or something truly hilarious I love it like a loving thing.
So lets get it started shall we?
This guy has been on my favorites list for a good long time. I have a feeling that if we knew each other we'd be fast friends.

Con Gusto
So on my very foggy and windy morning commute today I met the crossing guard version of this incredible man. Just imagine the red or yellow card as a stop sign. He also pranced back in his iridescent vest to his lawn chair of safety in the exact same manner. I was laughing so hard I was a bit embarrassed just sitting in the car by myself. Good job crossing guard man!! Thank you for being excited. Excited to keep kids safe and make neon green fashionable as well as functional. *high 5*

A Timeless Relationship

Addendum:
My burly 19 year old brother said that if a horse stuck its head inside his car window and made that face he'd probably scream too. That brought on another laughing fit. I truly think this is one of my favorite pictures of all time.
